Woo! More Lagoon content! :D A very excellent version of the opening track!
I think if there was one area that felt a 'touch' weak, it was the percussion. The synth and instruments worked very well, but the percussion was trying to play catch-up with the music.
Okey, good to know. Will keep that in mind in the future.
O.O I've been waiting for you to hit this one up man, what took so long? Ah, the legendary title theme..Easily the most rocking song in the entire game. Blew my mind when I first heard it, truth be told. And while I do enjoy this particular remake, I'm heart broken to hear not a single slightly over-driven guitar being thrashed on..At least it is, as usual, improved upon greatly from the original. Better quality sound to it, and man oh man the memories. I remember sitting in front of the T.V. with Lagoon turned on in the SNES and just listening to this song for a long time. Until my Mom spotted me, then yelled at me for leaving the game running and not playing it lol. The only point of disappointment I see is that you didn't take it to the next level and make it even more hardcore. I think you do a respectable job of this Wiz, I just wish you'd take that step outside of your comfort zone and put your own touches on your remakes. That's what often separates a good musician from a great musician. Just some food for thought Wiz. All in all, the remake was epic, as is expected. 4/5 4.5/5.
Well. I guess i could have done better. I don't really know why i didn't.
Thanks for you review and honesty.
