I rearranged Midna's Lament, one of my favorite Zelda songs. I added a part at the beginning, switched the instrumentation a bit, and added some things here and there that I thought were nice.

I hope you enjoy it!

Definitely a good remix, i can tell you that much.
Slow at the start but it does the build up justice.
I'd see this easily being used during a moment during a Cyberspace version of the areas that you had to run through in Twilight Princess, Good Job either way

Thank you so much! Yeah, I totally see what you mean with the Cyberspace areas! I'm glad you enjoyed it, because I certainly see lots of flaws in it... Haha. I had the option to add drums and a wobbly bass to it, and I actually did that during my first revision, but I decided against it in the end. It's been remixed like that many times... And I wanted to do something different. While I see flaws in my own work, it really makes me happy to read reviews like this one. Thanks a bunch! :D

I love this one more than the original. Everything was more than perfect.
5 stars & a favorite from me! Hope to hear more from you in the future.

HaydenDavenport responds:

Thank you so much!

I have been getting such good compliments due to this arrangement. It's always difficult to introduce new songs, as people like the familiarity of rearranged music. So I hope I don't disappoint you in the future. Haha.

Rearrangements or not, I'll definitely be adding more stuff in the future. Thanks again for the encouraging and kind words!

The sound effects you put in add so well. The violin (at the latter part of the song) was so beautiful and the piano was so good to it. I felt as though the piano echo gave it a great addition.

your beginning was well made. Simply put, I simply loved it. I find it better than the original.

Wow, that was extremely encouraging to read! I am super stoked after reading that review.

I'm glad you liked the string arrangement, when I was making it, I was a bit worried it wouldn't be as effective as I had hoped. I'm very glad it impacted you enough for you to mention it. Thank you so much!

Everything was perfect, whistling too. :D it probably just effects people's headphones differently

HaydenDavenport responds:

Thank you so much! I was about to change the whistling, but you made that comment... So now I'm confused about what to do. Lol. It sounds pretty balanced in my headphones as well. I guess I will just see if other people find it to be an issue before making any changes. I really appreciate the positive feedback!

Really nice arrangement, though the whistling seemed a little loud.

HaydenDavenport responds:

Thank you very much! I'm not sure whether I should change it or not, because some people say the volume is fine... hmm... I guess I will leave it unless I get more negative feedback about it. I really appreciate the input though! Thanks for taking the time to listen!
