I actually had a lot of fun while making this song. It's the first time in a while that I just made a song for the hell of it and as a result I could hardly wait to submit it! Aimed for a more upbeat song than your typical Halloween type deal. Nonetheless, I hope it gets you into the Halloween spirit! (I highly recommend using a pair of headphones)

Happy Halloween everyone! >:)

The chords that come in at 1:00 was where I decided how good this song was. It has an indefinite jam to it already that I can't help but get down to. Beyond that, the way the melody progress and continues is really great; very subtle and direct. The way the drums come out from under the filter is really the best kind of subtle, and they arrived with the best rhythm you could have.

Hey Koxyx, thanks a lot for the review! :D

"It has an indefinite jam to it already that I can't help but get down to."

That definitely means a lot! If my song has a "jam" or is anything related to the word 'catchy' then that's just awesome to know! I like how you define the melody as having a subtle approach and it's great to hear that everything developed into a solid mix.

Thanks again, it's really appreciated!

Definitely a well made song, good work. Not quite sure in what circumstance you would listen to this though, it's not quite a dance song or intense enough to be played randomly. I suppose it could work as intro music for something

Thanks! This is always a problem I have with my songs unfortunately...they tend to get stuck in a sort of limbo that has no room for one option or another. Perhaps this is just due to my style, but it can be a little aggravating at times. In any case, I'm glad you enjoyed the song! :D

The use of the phaser during the first minute is spot on. The transition into the first beat is a bit rough around the edges, maybe you could smooth it out with a soft filter transition. Once it get's going it's a solid, pleasant beat though. I definitly approve.
The melody work (2:20 and upwards) is very cool, and the transition around the three-minute mark is awesome.
The mix is well done, too. Never gets mushed together or crowded! Thumbs up for that.
The outro seems a little bit too short, maybe you could fade out of the song with a filtered pad.

Overall a very nicely produced, very moody song. I enjoyed listening. Well done!

This is great feedback, thanks a bunch Draewa!

I'm really glad you liked the melody and the transitions, but most of all I'm relieved to hear that the song doesn't sound crowded. I'll keep what you said in mind, about the first beat and the outro in particular. I never would have thought the song was "moody" but now that you point it out, I can see what you mean! Again, thanks for taking a moment to listen, as I said before this is fantastic feedback! :)
