This is my song "Boundless". I went for a heroic theme this time. With a little bit of hope too. I also wanted to make an adventure take place in this song. Like a hero has just made his next step in his long journey, and he brings more hope along with that big step taken.
I also had to redo half of this project because I forgot to charge my computer. So that really sucked. But I got it done! :D
I hope you guys enjoy!
EDIT: I changed the ending up a bit... gave it more variety and just something that popped into my head that I should do after the fact that I published it. Nothing big, but it was bugging me

Beautiful, adventurous and heroic, but perhaps a bit repetitive. Anyway, I enjoyed it very much. Two thumbs up!
Thank you! :D

Beautiful and adventuristic... I love it! I imagined myself playing The Legend of Zelda while listening to this song. The ending wrapped it up very well. Great work stunkel!
5/5 for both :)
Thanks man! I really appreciate the support! :P And that was a huge inspiration to the song! Thanks for the review! :D

Nice sound overall and great orchestration. Really has that feel of travelling on a old-school game. It's also not long enough to be repeatitive and has enough variety which is good. However it does sound alot like other tracks from this genre but if that was your goal in the first place then you did a nice job! :) Well done.
Thank you! And yeah that traveling feel was part of what I wanted to do. And yeah I'll add more to my next tracks to make it less repetitive. And I was going for that kind of feel of the genre, not really exactly like it but just similar i guess :P Thanks for the review!

This is actually an impressive piece of work. It's not a style that I'm familiar with enough to break it down and critique what should be tweaked but listening to Viking metal I have a bit of sense for orchestrated music. The whole piece is great but something about the sound of the snare steals my attention because I relate the drum pattern to a militarized rhythm and not as much lone hero mid evil vanquisher. The trumpet seems to cut a little short to the build up at the end. This song is definitely worth the 5/5 I rated and even more so worthy of being in a RPG field type venturing game or movie. Keep up the good work man :)
Thank you! And that's fine, I think anyone can review a song and tell why they do and don't like it. And I never really thought about where that drum pattern came from, I just thought it would fit best! I couldn't see anything else fit it. And the RPG field type venturing is exactly what I hoped for people to respond with! Thanks for the review :D

Not too shabby. I wouldn't agree with "Heroic" nor "Hopeful" for large sections of the track. I would say more "field map music" or "sunny day cutscene." This doesn't have the ATTENTION GRABBING qualities needed in a truly heroic theme, but could easily blend into the background as you're doing other things [like riding a horse across a field].
Field map music was actually part of that, I sort of just pictured going from place to place, if this were to be in a video game, I think it would DEFINITELY fit best in the field map music. It wouldn't be a castle or anything in my opinion. What would attention grabbing mean? Is it the melodies? Or is it just the instrumentation? Like the flutes aren't the powerful heroic instrument. Just curious is all :P Thanks for the review though!
