A Remix of Toxic Caves, a personal favorite song, from Sonic Spinball.
Ayyyyyyy funky!!! I like it xD This was always a good piece, but you've done it justice ^_^ Well played :P
GREAT MUSIC! MAKE A RETRO REMIX OF THE INTRO STAGE OF MEGA MAN 7 For the SNES!
Everyone to his own I guess. I Thought this was real kick-ass although LeMoNy7 has a point in calling it "Rearrangement/remix". But there was definitely enough originality for my tastes and it's freaking swingy as shit! Aww yeah.
5/5 and fav from me, bro.
Alright, so, I'm giving it 3 stars for the soul purpose of the face that as much of a remix as it is, to me at least, it just sounds like you changed the instruments and possibly the tempo, and maybe added a few bells and whistles here and there, I just went to see the original just so I could have a good basis. Now, to be honest, I REALLY like it, just cause it can be real easy to impress me with things like this, and I just enjoy stuff like this in general, I really didn't want to vote it a 3, I wanted to rate it more, but I had to be fair and give fair criticism, you get me? Overall, I really liked it personally, but I wouldn't call it much of a remix, more like... I guess, a 'Remastered' version of it, is really the best way I can put it at the moment... I hope you understand what I am saying lol See, the best example I can give you for what a Remix looks like to me, is if you go on a website like OCRemix, you'll find plenty there, but there's one or two I'd like you to look for, Like, uhm... Oh, here's some good ones, 'Magus Battle Theme Atonement', and 'Black Wind Rising(Magus Confronted' By StarSalzman, another good one is the 'Fallout of Eli', from the game Fallout 3. There's a few more, but those are the ones I can think of. The way they did it was like... You could recognize what song it was, so y'know, you are familiar with the song, but they also somehow COMPLETELY changed it and made it their own. That is what I view as a remix, still paying homage to the original, but throwin' in your own ingredients to spice things up.
I apologize for the long review, but I do hope it was somewhat helpful... If it was at all not helpful, or confusing, then I would love to clarify it for you some time. NOW, I just thought about it, but if you're just starting out, I'll have to say I am a little more impressed, and I do encourage you to keep going on with this, sorry to say that I've never seen you before, so if you're new, or some hidden jimmy, or just a guy who's 'On and off', I'm glad I got to run in to you to do this. I see good potential in your stylings, so I hope to see more! =D I hope this was helpful,God Bless :D
No I understand where you're going with that. Personally I never thought much of a difference between the words "Remaster" or "Remix". xD
Still, thanks for the honest review. =)
