As a child, everything is innocent, and we see the light that many people fail to see. As a grown-up, we have to face our demons and our fears, and some of them may weigh too heavily on us........
This is the second exploration theme for Team Crystal Egg's entry for Game Jam 8, a.k.a. Cabin Jam.
Celesta, strings and bells. FL Studio 10.

Love the chromatic descent! Also loops really, really well on a musical level.
When the rest of the strings enter, I'd have loved to seen more of them since it's a very welcome change of timbre.
Thank you :D
I will admit I wasn't particularly generous on the strings, but I didn't want to be too lavish with them either... :S I guess the sparseness shows.

its the refrain that catches my attention, the decending parts, i only dont like the string's quality, but that is personal taste.
I like how this track is relatively simple but has massive volume (as in body).

You certainly capture the mood very well in this piece. :)
Your instrument choice is good. Mixing could use work. The "lead" instrument stands out a little too much. I think a little reverb would possibly help it fit in better. That or maybe adjusting levels a bit.
Now while the song loops very well, I do have a problem with the song is that it is very... flat? There aren't any parts that stand out from the rest, and as such the piece is kind of monotonic in the mood and could use a secondary theme.
Otherwise, you're still making great music! :D
Keep it up!

Very nice, Trois! It has a bit of a haunting quality to it; especially with how you run down the scales in half steps. Appropriate given your description, and the time of year.
Eeeee, thanks ^_^
