What would you like on your tombstone
when you're gone and dead
would you like a nice soliloquy
cast above your head
Would you like a tasteful poem
or keep it short and sweet
or would you like your tombstone
to rest above your feet
Would you like a loving letter
to let your loved ones know
that where you will be heading
is where they want to go
would you like to leave your legacy
in words that can't be said
once that you're a meatcake
upon your old death bead
Or perhaps you'd like a notice to your mother
Or a haiku made out to your working mates
perhaps you'd like it dressed up in neon lights
with a firework display in lovely taste

or perhaps in fine cast lead
Would you want it framed and varnished
or polished to a shine
or maybe something newer
that won't fade after time
Or perhaps you'd like a notice to your mother
Or a haiku made out to your working mates
perhaps you'd like it dressed up in neon lights
with a firework display in lovely taste
So i turned around to the old mortition with a glint in me eyes, and said:
I don't need no long haul poem
or rich soliloquy
or a letter to me mother
or expensive neon lights
there's only one thing that I want
to have above my head
I want, pray, on my tombstone
Just 'thank fuck I'm dead'
