A traveling carnival with dazzling attractions that are all secretly operated by zombified clown children. These kids were once patrons to the carnival, but got separated from their parents, with the persuasion of the kingly clowns who own the midway. Through a series of horrific clown transformations, they are now slaves to the Karnaval Horrifique and will occasionally hunt on groups of unsuspecting fun-goers.
For October NAC 2012, I ended up getting first place <3 The theme was basically creepy children, so of course I went straight to the clowns. The vocals in this piece are all me being me.

This is really really good. I remember first hearing it when you submitted super early in the contest, and I thought "Wow, this sets the bar pretty damn high." And 3 weeks later the bar held up. Congratulations on the much deserved win!
Many parts of this remind me A LOT of the Sims soundtracks in the "Making Magic" expansion. I'm not well-versed in music terminology and can't name this particular style, but it sounds soooo like this. Which is awesome in a weird way.

You pretty much nailed the contest's theme. The song had different segments which was awesome. The use of the samples and soundscaping was awesome. Not much to say here, you nailed it.

loooove the creepy ambiance of this.. esp. the giggling, and the haunting music box melody combined with the twisted carnival feeling and the wailing melody.
love the story that goes with it too! And where it starts to giggle in the middle and you get that wonderful descending feeling.. this is brilliantly executed.. and then smooths out to contemplative and then macabre... you can never go wrong with creepy clowns!
10/10!
