Back in May, I went to Ocean Isle with my group of close friends and had a very memorable and great time. Of course, with any good vacation comes the clinical depression afterward. When you get back home and back to reality and have to go back to work. You know, the good old grind that we all love.

It was such a rare opportunity that we were all together simultaneously, and it sucks that it could potentially never happen again, or at least not for several years. Thinking about all this, I was compelled to make a song to reflect the good times we had.

Peaceful and happy, but fleeting.

I could go on, but MEH. Enjoy.

PS: Please, Newgrounds moderators/creators/gods, for the love of god (or you), give the audio portal a broader genre selection. At least for electronic music, since it has arguably the most branching structure out of all music types.

I usually don't listen to ambient, but when I do they must be good song.
This is one of them. Downloaded ^^

For the music genres: a lot of people have a genre of his own. Trance, dance, electronic, a mix of all the genres.

PS: People still use the term "techno" for these types of song, when the real techno has nothing to do with this. Music genres are confusing. Just listen ^^

Nubblecakes responds:

Yeah, I really hope they expand the genre selection some time in the future here. It's near impossible to find something specific, so you have to take a guess with one of the provided genres and hope you find something close to what you're looking for. I'm rather open-minded regarding electronic music, so it's not as much of an issue I guess, but to be able to categorize all the music here by specific genres and styles would benefit the audio portal overall in my opinion. More organization.

I appreciate your review and the high score; and I'm glad you liked the song. I wasn't expecting it to do this poorly in the sore department, but this is Newgrounds after all. People hit hard and are honest. I like that though.
