Southern Flavor - Blues

Author Comments

This is a co-operative project between me and my father, who tasked me with cutting and polishing up the song and such (in other words, I did the behind the scenes technical stuff). I wanted to put this song up here to get some feed back on the song in general.

Ahhh I just pumped this sucker up and lay down with some tobacco. What a slick tuner

That's a good ol' blues alright, sounds so Muddy Waters-y, but finely done nonetheless.

AAHHHH!!! I LOOOOOVE the old-fashioned jaaaaaazz! I hear that riff, my blood just boils.
Although, this isn't so much blues as it's not; our protagonist seems smug and happy about himself. Although you're mentioning a bit about a run-down ragged piece of garbage that you had before, I'd wish to hear more about that hunk-a-junk that yer leaving behind.

Put some of your dad's live performances on youtube, sounds great!

Sounds damn awesome, sir. Sounds very old school blues. If I understand the Author Comments correctly, your dad made the song, and you mixed/mastered it? Either way, you and your dad make an awesome team. Great work, sir.

Gedab responds:

My dad does some damn good work. I admit that he had to clean this up behind me, but this was my first crack at mixing a song. I am glad that this is not my first, raw attempt XD. It wasn't bad, but the sound was a bit clunky.
