There are some pretty big changes of pace of intensity in this song, and if you can endure a little less than 2 minutes of the bossanova-inspired acoustic jazz stuff, I believe you will feel satisfied with the reward.

1:45 Reminds me of Colplay, but still a nice track youve made

Well, to start, I really like this song. Especially the intro - something I would think of finding in an anime. I like that you double tracked the rhythm guitar in the beginning, but it sounds like one of them is a little bit out of time. You've got a great vibe going here, especially with the subtle electric guitar riffs (from the beginning up to :40). I think I would have preferred you to keep this whole section like this: acoustic - the electric solos sound a little out of place to me, especially considering how groovin the beginning is. Also, you lose a lot of that "big" sound when the double tracked guitar part drops out.

Hop on over to genre number two. It's different, but not out of place which is good. I love the glockenspiel sounds (or whatever that is) from 2:21 onward. I wasn't expecting it, and it was pretty satisfying. This is quite possibly my favorite part of the piece - though I would have liked it to get a little bigger. Maybe build more with the drums. I think I'm wanting to hear more cymbal sounds than I'm getting. Great outro, it falls well from the build, and I like how it fades.

Great job, I'd like to hear more like this!

I feel like you just funked all over my face from 0:00 to 1:40, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Does that make me gay? The rest was good, but that first minute and forty was awesome as hell.

Buoy responds:

Sorry for funking all over your face. The shower is over to the left...
