I like the song it reminds me of something..... god like or game 8 bit some were in between
or kinda of old timey link game :)
This is the intro song to a web-series I am working on. It's in an old fashioned 8-bit style, because the story takes place in a digital world. The song is about the creation of the world. In the beginning the world is still in 8-bit. Not all music will be 8-bit. Later songs will be 16-bit and/or real instruments/samples. But all songs are in video game style. I'm working on an orchestral rendition of this song for later in the series. I used Propellerhead Reason.

Maybe it reminds you of the creation of video game consoles.
Despite the other two reviews, I like how you made this slow paced. It was done well, and fits to a more melancholy seen than an upbeat theme would have. Keep up the good work! :3
Thank you. That was my intention.
It could fit in an rpg-like cutscene. I like it but as the person before me stated, it's a bit slow paced to just listen to. Keep up the good work though :)
In the series i's made for there will be a narrator talking over it. Also animations to look at. I think it would work for that.
I thought this song was pretty good, however, it was slow paced, which isn't usually good with 8-Bit, but it worked to some degree. Also, I like the way the pitch variation was handled.Anyway, I thought it was good, and I'll give you 4.5 stars.
Thanks. I get what you mean. Most modern 8-bit music is very upbeat. That works better with the style. I think with a base drum the song would sound less slow paced. Still this was what I had in mind, so I couldn't have made it differently.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
