Shortened by almost 40 seconds, remixed with added sonic highlights, this 3rd and final version has a better feel and more fluid flow. The soul of the original is preserved with some added attitude. Turn your subwoofer up!

you have a good sound sound there mate. but you could do a lot more with it, no offence. you have a good structure. but if it was me i'd put a few more low end syths in to bounce off the main synth you have cuz it's nice and dirty. plus a few added sfx would help the flow a bit, like a nice airy crash or a mean thud every four to eight bars when the dubstep kiks in. also i think the mix could be a bit better towards the end the rising synth at the end seems to drown out the main sound. but you've faded out so it's maybe just the way it sounds when it begins to fade thats thrown me a bit. but like I said you have a good structure mate i think it just needs a bit more refining. hope you found this helpful bud. :D

Certainly has it's own feel, to say the least.

That isn't to say that the feel was good, though. It has soul, but that soul just isn't very pleasing to the ears. The bass would be much better if (since there is a lack thereof) it had more melody to it, or it wasn't so formant. Normally, many artists have too much going on in the song; in this case, there just isn't enough. you have drums, and an honestly underwhelming, mediocre bass synth.

I can see from your profile that you haven't been at it for too long, so don't be discouraged from making music. I've been at it for 5+ years, and it took about 3 and a half, maybe more, years for it to actually start sounding really good.

You have a start, just as we all start somewhere. You just need time and practice. I am being as honest as I can with my review and my score; I'm not trying to offend you or shoot you down. I just hope this was constructive in some way. Keep at it; you might be on to something here.

Not really dubstep. Not sure it's 140 bpm either. No drop. But still, I applaud you on it because it wasn't that bad! Good job, keep up the good work.

hammytechnoid responds:

Thank you for your response. There was experimentation with this. BPM is 100 and instead of a drop I used explosion. I'm curious to know if anyone plans on using this song at a halloween party. Thanks.

That's scary and very hard, but you did it well!

hammytechnoid responds:

Thank you for the review. Scary and hard was my goal. Thanks.
