Hey Everybody! =D
Completed this song August 12th, 2009
in the amazing program "Cakewalk Kinetic 2!"
The song was inspired by the great original piano
MIDI instrument in the Digital Audio Workstation [DAW].
Still to this day-- "Reso" [Resonators] and the BrightPiano
sound are indeed VERY tricky to mimic in even some of the
more professional DAWs that I am using these days like Ableton Live 8
Honestly, what the idea was originally was to remix the closing
song for "Midnight Gymnastics" and "make it fun" with some drums
[it has a really catchy "piano-only" closing with a touch of class.]
However... what ended up happening was I got to using
Cakewalk Kinetic 2 and welp! The rest became this song! =3
This was one of the first times I came to appreciate the new
"BrightPiano" sound-patch / MIDI Instrument in Kinetic 2.
To this day I salute thee Cakewalk! T_T
Don't know how wthis was done. =) But this and
"Grand Piano" in Ableton are the VERY best Pianos
I've heard to date in a Digital Audio Workstation.
[Remember when most MIDI Pianos sounded like a
Casio Keyboard or like the background harmonies in
SHMUP and Megaman games? =3]
For those curious,
The inspiration for this song indeed was "Tomomi Shirakawa" from
the anime / adult anime
"Princess 69" and "Princess 69: Midnight Gymnastics."
Saw both back in 2008.
Contrary to what some choose to think, I honestly don't
"obsess over" anime or books or movies. I watch a thing and move on.
After I write a review I'm done with the series / film / book / video game
in general. This song would be like an "Instrumental Review" I suppose.
I make a song and move on. =)
Simply the nature of this Writer, Artist and Musician. =3
Layering the piano for this track was a WHOLE lot of fun!
Inspirations initially came from hearing music from New Age albums
like The Narada Collection which I heard because of my
elder biological-brother-from-t he-same-mother who founded MGCM, Inc.
Also artists like Yanni, David Lanz and Steve Barakatt who use
multi-level-recordings to make classical and New Age music--
Also are hot inspirations for this song as I was listening to
quite a bit of "Chillout Music" on 1.FM Chillout Lounge (via SHOUTcast)
and songs like "The Whistler's Song" by Barakatt around this era. =)
Hope you enjoy! =D

P.S. I've got a "Full Vocal Mix" of this song in the works by the way. =)
It's "Weird" [in that the vocals are allegorical and operatic--
NOT me sounding like a girl though! XD You'll hear it =3]
Been talking about releasing it for about half a year now,
but just seemingly unable to get it to sound just like I hear it
in my heart thus far (although the lyrics have BEEN written!)
When it's up it'll be up! ^_^
In Culinary Arts for Fall Semester 2012 =)
Classes are online via GVTC Angel Learning
so hopefully during this semeser it'll be up! =)
Thank You for the listens and stay amazing everyone!
Peace & Love! =D
Sincerely and wholeheartedly,
