Song I made for a web series I'm working on.
It's a song in retro video game style, but with modern sounds. So no chip tune. The entire song is done in Propellerhead Reason.
I'm not completely sure where to put this song in the series. That depends on what other songs I can come up with. This will probably on of the many action scene themes. As for now I plan on using it as the main theme of episode 3.

This is an awesome track! It has a very retro feel to it, so it automatically reminds me of some of the old RPGs I've played. I loved the bassline you used as well as the short chip bursts. You placed emphasis on both of these instruments with superb timing, which gave the song a great deal of fluidity.
Around 1:28 there is a very short, but rough transition that I think could be much smoother, but in some strange way it works to further the song. I think this is one of your older pieces, so I'm going to check out your newer stuff to see how you've progressed! Keep it up man! :)
Thanks for the review. It's not one of the oldest songs, nor one of the newest. It's little over a year old. I've uploaded my songs quite out of sequence, so it will be difficult to see how I progressed. I don't really know how I progressed myself. I try to improve, but mainly I try to do new things every time.

Its brilliant, I really like it.
It sounds more like Video Game Music rather than Pop, though.
It does sound like video game music. But it isn't from a video game, so technically it isn't video game music. I thought if video game music can sound like pop, then pop can sound like video game music. Maybe I should have labelled it video game music, I don't know. I always have trouble putting labels on my songs.

well organized, Kinna reminds me of background music for an old sidescroller shooter
