Edit: For those unaware, WIP means 'Work in Progress'. This is unfinished and I will be adding a lot more to it! I'm just looking for some feedback since I'm stuck. What you hear is not actually the ending.

I love the Gerudo Valley them from Zelda: Ocarina of Time and have been meaning to get out of my comfort zone and do something other than classical. So this is what I've got so far. A remix with rock and orchestral elements.
I'm totally stuck though and have no clue where to go with this. :/ Do you like that part at the very end, or should I scrap it? Any advice on mixing since I'm kind of a newb at it?
Please leave constructive criticism and help a brother out! :o

Beginning was great. Very unique and inspired work. This is just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt, but the last thirty to fourty seconds reminded me more of mega man than zelda. With a little more work this will definitely be a piece that goes straight to my favorites list.

Okay, this is one of the best pieces of remixed classical game music I ever heard! I hardly have any experience with playing Zelda, but this piece looks really good. But honestly, I have a small grudge against the end part. Sorry about that, but the end made me loose touch with the whole song. Again, sorry, but that's my opinion. But overall, amazing! XD

Absolutely crackin remix of the piece, love it all. As has been said below, the violin sounds awesome but it's too isolated, definitely needs some accompanying string- double it up, add in some cello :) I like the ending piece you've thrown in there, but it ends too suddenly, at least fade it out, OOOOR I reckon a massive build up with some epic strings, guitar soloing, cymbal crashes would really finish it off nicely :)
I don't mean the points above in a mean 'im better than you way' because you're one of the only people Ive seen who've made a great new version of this piece I just think the song has a lot of potential to be amazing :)
PS- What program did you use to make it?
Keep writing stuff like this :D
