My Entry for RAC 7, representing Finland. I re recorded this due to some quality issues, the previous soundfile clipped a lot. I hope I win :D Metal forever!!
I know the metronome is there.. I kept it deliberately.. :P

I really like your style. This is truly Finish melodic metal. The only problem is the volume of instruments are out of balance. Nice use of chord progression.
Thanks :) I wil keep it in mind

Nice guitar skills, since this is a song that was intented to have vocals obvously it feels like something is missing, this has loads of potential!
Good luck with RAC7!
thanks a lot :) I re did this track with a seven stringer.... lots of mixing and better drums... I hope you will enjoy. Still, its instrumental.. need to find a vocalist... thanks again

Hey I can tell you can play!
I know you are working on your mixing/editing stuff.
An option for the heaviest parts is two to four rhythm guitars panned out, with the lead/harmony set in the middle. That would make it big and bold, but not cluttered.
After getting a bunch of tracks going clearly, I would get compression techniques in the mixing phase down. This will add the punch!!
Overall, awesome riffage!!
Thanks a lot Rob :) I added you back on my youtube "adilovemetal" channel :) cheers

Awesome timing! The guitars are pretty tight and well-played and composed! It could use some lead melodies or vocals, but I imagine you left space for those on purpose.
Descara is right though; a bass would definitely fill the mix out. I did the octave lower clean guitar trick many times before, it gets the job done as long as you get the right frequencies out.
I feel like the hihat could use an accented rhythm at 1:53, it sounds a little robotic. I'd also do the same for the fills, just to humanize them some, and give them some life.
Anyway, good work and keep it up!
yep, I left those spaces deliberately, because I plan on getting my hands on a good mic, I have written some really cool clean and growl lyrics, can't wait to sync em up with the song, and also, add bass, with the lower octave trick ;) I fiddled around with the octave pedal for half an hour, and it gave amazing results. :D thanks anyways.. I hope to record this soon, but I am afraid wont be before 1st sept.. I have my term examinatios coming up.. If I lose in RAC7 due to this submissio, I wont feel bad cuz this aint my 100%.. so yea, A re recoring is required :) Thanks though

Pretty nice, sorely needs a bass though! If you don't have one, or lack VSTis good enough, there's always the cheap old trick of recording your guitar clean with an octave pedal, or tuning it an octave down in your DAW.
The kick and snare really good compared to a lot of peoples digital drum work however :)
You know what? I think am gonna do just the same... record it with an octave pedal... thanks for the suggestion :D this one be re rendered
