if you don't like long intros, skip to 1:30.

If you REALLY don't like long intros, skip to 2:30.

Now that I've got that out of the way...

1. This is my longest song ever. 5 minutes, what???

2. This is my best song.

3. I'm really proud of my melody work on this song. The one at 2:30 is possibly my best.

4. I said up above to skip into the song if you don't like intros, but I secretly hate you if you do this. :D Come on, can't we all listen to the whole song and appreciate it? I guess not because you have no proof that I'm not a terrible songwriter.

5. Holy crap I love db_glitch

6. FL Studio actually started derping on me while I was working on this song. Playing the work in progress song would sound like a huge glitch. MORE THAN DB_GLITCH. No idea why it happened. Hope it doesn't happen again.

7. I rerendered this song 3 times (EDIT: 4!) to get it right while typing this out. Rendering takes a long time when your song is 5m...

8. The name: I have no idea, I suck at these. It makes me think of this epic journey somewhere.

I really enjoyed this. It seems you grow as a musician with every song.

Thank you. I try my best to learn and improve.

Holy shit, that intro was professional! The build up was great, the transitions were buttery, everything has a nice progression to it. Fantastic. I have to give credit where credit is due, and this my friend; this was a very well thought out piece. I hope to see more great submissions like this! Keep up the good work.

Reviews like this totally make my day. Thanks man.

I was worried that people would have enough of an attention span (or more realistically, have no reason to think it was worth it) to put up with the long intro, and I'm glad you proved me wrong. :)

How long? Highest mines has probably taken is like 5 minutes which is usually if i have alot of sound in it.

Love that nexus pluck. I have not yet found an excuse to use it. The snare i kind of don't like the choice but whatever. I think a good name for this would be "Journeys" imo.

You should try and experiment with other sounds btw. It would add some variation. Like your melodies are amazing i just wish you would maybe mess around with some other vsts even if it is like an fl vst. Hell in freestyle that pad i uesd during the sub kick part was from sytrus.

I did like this though so try to keep it up.

Probably close to 5, although I didn't time it. But FL was acting up.

You're right about using additional sounds. I was pretty lazy about this. I think it's because the saw I use is really versatile so it never really sounds bad.

I try to incorporate something new in every song. This song was db_glitch, last one was decent buildups, then sidechaining, etc. I suspect that new sounds may take me more than one song to really figure out though...

Thanks as always for the lighting fast review. And you gave me something to think about, too.

(I also thought about naming it Journeys! But then I thought of the band Journey... bleck :P :P)
