This was one of a few concepts I made for an amateur action film. This particular piece was mostly inspired and influenced by John Murphy's work - particularly for 28 Days later and Kick-Ass.
like the song, and you did a good job on it . my only revision would be to add the second to last piano key as the final not for the piece. even though the song may be short and abruptly ending, it needs to end on a good and happy note (my philosophy anyways). So besides that piano key addition, all i nave to say is keep up the good work Climeron! :D
Thanks - Funny you should mention the ending - I was never really happy with it - maybe I should follow your philosophy on my future projects :D
The song ends a little abruptly for my taste, but I can certainly see your influences shine through here in an enjoyable fashion. Most everything sounds sampled, which isn't inherently bad and I can't use that against you in any form of fairness since we're all most likely independent artists with limited access to resources. :P I do feel, though, that the piano part moving as quickly as it does in its solo feature doesn't really work as well as I feel like it should, whereas it does with the guitar because that's the timbre of the instrument. If the piano were given more solo room to breathe, I think it would've worked better, but since the song is so compact, there's very little...well, proverbial breathing room. But I enjoyed it, and that's overall what matters most.
I completely agree about the limited access to resources but it's a shallow excuse because I've seen some people to amazing stuff with even less than I have. I'm just not particularly good at making electronic instruments (my computer or the software more specifically) play the music in a particularly natural matter... I try though. Anyway thanks for the feedback and I'm glad if you enjoyed it.
Interesting... :) I liked it! As I also like John Murphy :) But it sounds very generic, also... try using different effects, or just playing with knobs, to try to get a unique sound.
Thanks - I appreciate your feedback and will try my best to improve in my future work :)
