This is one of those examples where "Just because you can do something, it doesn't meant that you should". Just because I can record my voice through my interface into Logic, it doesn't mean I should. I should find someone else to sing this...

Anyways, a few months ago I stumbled across the Mad World chord progression. After some tinkering, I noticed how jazzy and neat it sounded to place the melody of Mad World over the chords from my song Outro(Spective). So this is the result of that discovery. I'm probably going to release the instrumental version of this too.

Try to enjoy it (despite my off-kilter vocals)

Your voice could have maybe been a bit more emotional, and it was just slightly out of tune.
But it's a really cool track. I love how the chords worked.

RyeGuyHead responds:

I layered my vocals by recording them multiple times to try to adjust for my being out of tune.

The beginning is completely emotionless, it's hard to express myself in that register.

Thanks for the review, glad you liked it!

Quite cool, but in my opinion your voice in the beginnig is a little bit too low, the rest is cool.

RyeGuyHead responds:

I wanted to have a different vocal feel between the two verses, and then have them come together at the end...but I totally agree
