It looses a star ONLY because the drum production is so flat. It's rather lifeless and not wholly interesting. Its there just to keep the beat.
But beyond that this is a tasty track. Really tight playing and tasteful leads. Awesome sense of melody. Heavy bands can learn a thing or two from this... You sir, are favorited.
PS: What do you use to record? Trying to get my own setup at home going. Your leads sound excellent.
Thanks for stopping by man, glad you dig the tune. I wholeheartedly disagree about the drums though :P But hey, I respect your opinion! Glad the melody aspect of my composing reached out to you, it is in many ways what I focus on mostly as a composer. I use Cubase SX 3 as base software for the recording.

Ok, first of all. You are just great at this stuff. I love that intro with the solo a little bit into the song. Gives a completely epic feel. Also, 1:34 provides all of the metal feels that I needed. There are so many notably awesome parts in this song. I also love the progression in this song. All in all, great song. Might be my favorite so far.
Awesome feedback brody-brosseus, I went for a more heavier bass sound on this tune than for example my latest tune Divine Knights. Glad you dig it, head bang and rock on friend!

It's a great song, but to me the first verse somehow seems a bit out of place.
I cannot describe why and it's really the only thing that stops me from giving you 5 stars.
