This is the first, almost finished song from my brand new, spankin' band Outbreaker. Vocals will be recorded as soon as I can get my interface from home. Newgrounds community has always been really good about giving solid feedback, so that is what I ask of you guys. Just honest feedback on our hardwork!

Bass kick is overpowered and overclipping. Lead can use some bass to make it sound fuller for the thrash bits in the beginning. Can use some bass guitar as well but not exactly a necessity. But seriously...aside from mixing, it sounds really good. especially the drums. Vocals would be nice as well.

gopherthroat responds:

Thanks man, I appreciate the honest criticism! The funny thing about this track is the only instrument we actually recorded was one guitarist doing both parts. No bass guitar has been recorded yet, but our bass player has some really sick stuff written for it. You could imagine him playing bass lines in the realm of Protest the Hero. For the drums, we sent the recorded guitar track off to our drummer who lives a few hours later, and then he practiced along with it on his physical kit until he got it down and finished by building a drum track with Superior Drummer. Basically we just wanted to give everyone an idea of what we can accomplish once we are all financially set to record. The few proper recording studios here are...really expensive. Vocals (I am the vocalist) will be pretty intense. We are trying to decide whether or not to have some cleans in it or not though. Nothing girly and whiny. Anyway, thank you again!
