I decided to make something again. It's basically a ride through many different textures and layers of ever-changing motifs. Anybody who has heard my stuff should be familiar with this vg/cinematic style -- it's what I enjoy creating the most. I'm also open to helping fellow NG'ers with projects that need music or sound work.

I was looking for a music to use for a video I made to document some whale watching excursions I took this month. With its variety, sense of urgency, and sense of building, this fit the bill. Any shortcomings in the video were because the whales and I just couldn't match their activity exactly to the music...but for me, it worked.

The beginning was great. When it starts to enter the strings, it started to get a bit too high-pitch and annoying. More like, it didn't belong there. Or maybe it was too long?
The middle was quite good. It sounded like it had an air of urgency and panic. Minute 2.30 to 3.00 was a fast transition from climax to conclusion though.
Now, the last few parts are sounding like a real conclusion. Overall, it's quite good.
Sorry I can't give a better review. I'm much more better at movie/flash reviews than Audio. Hope this is helpful.
Also, it's been quite some time since we've heard from you. Hope you continue the Forsaken series and what not. :) I've been waiting since 2005. 7 Years maaan!
I appreciate your thoughts on the piece. It was a quick thing intended to get the creative juices flowing again, so it's not exactly the most thought out in terms of progression and structure. As for Forsaken, I'll need a bit more juice before I can tackle that beast. But it helps knowing there are still those who want to see the story pan out. Thanks for the review.
