Hammerspace - Signal Strength

Diablo 3 is the greatest $60 paperweight I've ever owned. If Diablo 3 were a person, this would be my song to it. Read between the lines... any Diablo fan will get it. :)

------

sit and wait, the promise of virtue
you expect such a world much bigger
hesitate to do what they told you
no regret as you're pulling the trigger

here it is - the final production
what we have is a failure to launch
wait it out, temperment raging
taken back like a fire extinguished

you and i are not (today)
you will not succeed (won't play this game)

sit and wait, your disappointment
manifests in a sigh too feint
no debate, this just ain't worth it
run a test on the signal strength

no remorse (for) the wrath that follows
take a moment - you're redeeming yourself
such a force as you're self-defeatist
causes you to remember the time (that)

you and i were not (today)
you did not succeed (won't play this)
ten years that have passed (today)
see it's all in vein (won't play this game)

given up our time (you worthless motherfuckers)
repetitious stakes (you will not best us today)
you will not abide (into the future we go)
laughing in our face (avoiding you as we can)

pretty damn good, and the lyrics can apply to things other than blizzards constant weekly fails!

i guess i was successful in that regard! i generally don't like giving out what my songs are about for that reason alone, but i thought i was too funny that lyrics to a song this awesome were about something so ridiculous i had to let it slip :P

Epicness, that is all ! ^^

I think the melodic background should be a little-bit lower and get the "screamin' " up.

I..I.

thanks for the feedback, sir. for the backup vocals i was goin' for a vibe similar to that from the verses from static-x's "machine" (really faint screaming in the background); i'll amp 'em up a bit for the final version, though :)

I really like your music because there aren't many good rock / metal songs that have lyrics on new grounds , and i think there should be. keep up the good work.

I have to say, this track is showing the continued improvement and dedication to your craft. The voice sounds more authentic than ever. If the mic setup was better, this would be completely radio ready. Couldn't hear the ( ) lyrics. Try turnin em up or panning them a bit cuz they get lost behind the guitar and the main vocal. Fav part breakdown at 2:30 and the strings that came in at 2:50. Metalocalypse epic.
