Grim Fairy Tales Collection
Title: Grim Melancholy / Sora's Theme (Ver3.2)
** Hey guys! Ok so about this song... I began the original song of this one earlier this year... I believe. The themed melody came about back before I began putting together the Grim Fairy Tales Collection. I wanted to make something with a nice and easy, vintage, waltz like quality. Some inspiration for the emotion I wanted to capture came from the NG games "Gretel and Hansel" and the "Hood" series.
As for this current song, I was asked by Kierax here on NG to make a song for their game, more specifically a theme for one of the characters. So far this has been my first and only music request I've been ask to do for someone (I take music requests btw)! I was told at first that they needed a song that was slightly depressing and slow. The first song I made to fit those guidelines was "[HoS] Cast in Twilight" (which I think I nailed) However, it was not quite what they wanting, although they did have another place for it in their game. Further info of what they were looking for described the character as being a boy who is cold, shy, and mysterious. Well........ to make an already long story short, this song was the fourth attempt at making this character's theme so I've come a long way with this piece.
** Hope you enjoy! Feel free to use this in any project of yours as well. Just be sure to let me know first and give credit! And as I said above, I am taking requests for music so leave me a message if you are interested!
