Haha, agreed, xjen. You are right, man. He is an annoying assist. He barely frickin does ANYTHING unless theres a second player who FLIPPIN knows what he's doin. Goodness me, Tails actually probably distracts me in this stage.

Indeed is Tails a hindrance in the Special Zone of Sonic 2. ^_^; Glad you really liked this track and thank you very much for the great review score! :)

This sure is one heck of a toe-tapper and i agree with moonwalk. Tails is one annoying assist,if you can even call him that?

Tails is utterly useless in the Special Zone unless you happen to have a 2nd player who knows what the heck they are doing, eh? ^_^; At any rate, glad you liked this tune and thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review on another one of John's and my tracks. It is always appreciated. :)

Well then. I'm gonna have to say I like this one less than the last I reviewed.

The piano may be the centerpiece, as I said before, but it shouldn't completely and utterly overshadow everything else. The drums sound a little too... weak. Soft, I should say, melding in with the background piano a bit negatively. As far as this mix goes for a remix, it's... a tad off in some spots... I don't know why, but listening to the side-by-side... I might be hearing this wrong... but you MIGHT have missed a note or two.

Again. My hearing isn't perfect. Maybe I'm just senile... But I'm still not likin' this as much as I could, and probably should. Sorry...

DrMackFoxx responds:

Hmmmm... some adjustments may be in order. I think the main thing you are not hearing in this track versus the original are the long, warbling notes present in the lead instruments. Thank you again for an honest review. :)

Very well done guys, You did a really great job on this one. this really captured the vibe of the original; I can't help but miss the wacky electrolead though. great stuff ;]

DrMackFoxx responds:

Ah. I can understand that. Granted, you can't do warbling notes very easily on piano and pitch-bending is out of the question. ^_^; Still, I'm glad to see that you enjoyed this song quite a bit! Thank you very much for the great review. :)
