I was only a year old when Hiroshige Tonomura wrote this song for Capcom's "Ducktales", but I very clearly remember playing the shit out of that game. I guess even as a kid I knew what tight gameplay was. This song is one of the most iconic songs of the era, and I was bored and figured it would be pretty easy to cover. I was right, I finished it in just over two hours.

I wish Capcom was as awesome today as they used to be.

If you want to check out my album (there are no covers on it, it's 100% original stuff), check out my Bandcamp below. The album is only $3, and every purchase helps me out a ton. Thanks for listening! /

Ducktales Moon theme always held a special place in my heart, I personally regard it as the moment chip-tune music started becoming more of a serious medium for songwriting. The idea that something so beautiful can be written with such a handicap ( the nes equipment ) shows that true music shines through no matter what.

Thanks for remaking this, you did a nice job of introducing a different vibe, but keeping the overall atmosphere of the original. I hope you don't mind but I used this song in a youtube video of mind, don't worry I gave you all the credit in the description box.

Absolutely perfect as a credits theme for my flash. Its a softer version of the original, yet it still holds the same punch to it. Great work!

Once again Mucky's name is shown on the top lists were he belongs. This song is brilliant and I too remember Capcom's Ducktales on the NES. Listening to this song just brought back excellent memories, thanks muck!

A great remake of a fantastic classic tune. Would love to see your own take on the song though, throw in a bit of the darker tone that you use in your Future Sludge album maybe?

I don't even know if it's possible to make this song in a dark way. It's just so happy. Thanks for checking out my album. If you're the person that bought it today, thanks a lot.

EDIT - That WAS you. Thanks, man.
