This is the completed version of my song Feathered Wings. It's the first song I've written on guitar and with lyrics. Enjoy!

Lyrics:

"Your eyes shine in the light of truth
and our time thus far is the proof.

I found you on the shore of Heaven & Earth
and I saw your feathered wings.

I took your hand and with a silly smile
you got up and danced all around the sand.

We talked about music and you brought up Joel
and how we loved to see the lights go out on Broadway.

The seed that was planted with those first hellos
has grown and flourished as a garden of love.

During our timeless nights that we spoke
I would make you laugh with my stupid jokes

When you tell me that everything is alright,
I look but I can't see the twinkle in your wet eye.

Your eyes shine in the light of truth
and your smile really warms my world.

My beautiful angel will be flying far
on her young and lovely feathered wings."

Beautiful song. I love the guitar there at the end. I also noticed in the comments it says "Your Smile truly warms my world" When instead, I hear "really warms my world"
