This beat is fucking incredible! I can't get over how good it is. I love it!

Keep the dope beats coming my brother, you are one of the best producers on NG.

I like it..It reminds me of walking down the street with my big ol head phones on, pumping a groove that just blocks out the world. Occasionally ya can vaguely hear something from the outside, maybe a car horn or a guy yelling, but you don't care. Your head is boppin your feet are moving and the rest of the place can go to hell...

In other words, it is a good track. Bit off kilter but somehow that is what makes it good.

Great glad you like it, and yeah, a lot of my tracks are "off kilter." It just happens that way.

I agree on the crash, it is a little too loud. As for the rest of the instrumentation...DAMN. I love the background ambient sounds a lot, and I'm really digging the bassline. What really stands out to me on this is the brass. I'm a sucker for brass man. Awesome chops dude!

I'm not sure how this got down to 2.72/5. You got some haters, my friend. Meanwhile, the beat is excellent. I love the drum roll and the crash. I don't hear crashes too often in hip hop beats, but you work them quite well. I think maybe the crash is a slight, slight bit too loud. Slight. Minor fix. I love the stuttered horn at :50. The chord progressions are very cool as well - I'm not sure if it's a sample you chopped or something you wrote, but it sounds impressive nonetheless. THEN the beat changes at 1:34. I love it when the beat changes. I never expect that shit. You had an El-P moment. This beat's an impressive piece of work.

Thanks dude. I was thinking the same about the crash and that's why the drum pattern changes up as much as it does, so it didn't include as many crashes. like that sample change up huh, brings some warmth to a lonely song. as for whether it's sampled, yes, I don't have as good luck with real instruments/composition.
thanks for reviewin

Woah. Amazing. Sounds like something that would be in Samurai Champloo or a Williams Street promo.
