A thing I've been working on for a little while now, thought I'd throw it up here to (hopefully) get some response. It's a bit long, but I'm completely useless when it comes to cutting out bits. Also, I'm still considering throwing in more subtle accents and quirks here and there, so any criticism is appreciated.

In any case, I hope you'll enjoy it!

It seems to be a bit chaotic with the mixing, but definitely a more powerful song. I'm amazed that this is your first track.

If I could suggest anything, it'd be to isolate the melody a bit more from the harmony, but even at that you may have intended just the opposite, and I can't argue with an artist's intentions.

Good choice of synth, good pretty much everything. Nice!

Septyrikon responds:

Thanks a bunch! This might be the first track that I've oploaded here, but it's by no means the first song I've ever done :) I've been doing music for quite a while, so I suppose I have some sort experience making music. I've never really posted anything online before, so I'm honestly surprised with the positivity this has gotten so far :D

I thought it was great. Could use a bit more variation, like including more accented drums every repeat or something. I could imagine this playing in the background of an innovative little puzzle game or something like that. By innovative, I mean it would be action-packed a bit if you konw what I mean, as puzzle games tend to be these days!

Septyrikon responds:

Thank you very much for the response. The reason for the somewhat repetetive drums would be, that it took me so long to do all the melody stuff, that I honestly was fed up with it, and just threw something together fairly quick. I might go back and polish this off at some point.
