"Darkness closes in as life slips away and I run out of things to say. I won't forget my sins of the life before, God don't take no mercy on the poor: the Gates of Hell are pullin' me in. Not long before the torment begins; I beg and pray, don't forget this time, no smile's worth the flame of the crime."
I was reading a news article about someone who killed a child. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt and think they were clinically insane, or in some other way deranged and unaware of just how messed up it is to kill anyone, let alone a child. Especially since she wrote in her diary that the murder was, "Ahmazing".
Anywho, I sometimes pass the time by looking at life through someone else's eyes. Suggesting they enjoyed it, I pray they soon know that no smile is worth the crime. Please leave your thoughts on the work! Thanks! RIP Elizabeth Olten
