"Great!"

It sounds very Tim Burton-esque.Very flowing, interesting peace. Reminds me of a combination of Haunted Mansion and Corpse Bride, with a touch of Harry Potter.

=)

If this is original, you are one of my new favorite composers. This sounds like something by Danny Elfman! Nuff said!

Check out some of my stuff,

Author's Response:

Wow, thanks! Completely original, with some stylistic influence from Danny Elfman, but 100% my work. I'll be sure to listen to some of your work. Thanks for the review!

"Not bad."

date: April 29, 2006

I like it but it does sound a lot like Waltz of the MPP which I personnaly think is an awesome piece. This one seemed not as clear or focused melody-wise and production wise it seems really bassy on my speakers. I hope that isn't offesive to you.

I still think it's good & it's darker than your usual stuff too which I like.

Can't wait to hear some more from you tho.

Check out newer song too. I'd like your opinion on it.

Author's Response:

Funny you should mention that; the person who requested this piece said, "I like the Waltz of the MPP, I want you to make something like that."

Therefore, a bunch of similar instrument patches and a few days later, I had created this. I'm not a huge fan of creating something so stylistically similar to something I've already made (I think it's better for development as a composer to branch out as often as possible), but a request is a request, so voila.

No offense taken; I'm sure there are plenty of EQ issues. :P I plan on expanding this piece to 4+ minutes, and in that process I'll probably work more with the balancing.

Thanks for the review, I'll be sure to listen to some of your stuff. ;)
