On this piece, I wanted to keep it very true to the original, and convey the sense of drama and energy; desperation and strength that the original piece had in it.

I didn't want to just leave it at a quick fade-out, or a sudden end, and I didn't want to leave it without any progression or evolution, either.

So I added in the horns, and then did the whole slow fade-out B-section with the organ. I think by doing that, it leaves the fate of the battle uncertain, and makes it seem as if we left the scene during a very desperate moment.

The original song plays during a battle with pretty much every enemy in the game.

I remember playing the NES version and the sence of "Death" came from this song whenever you were battling an enemy. Glad you kept that when re-orchestrating this song
