Here's a remix of Clubringer's "Sound of my Dream" that I completed a while ago. This song has been remixed a lot (especially on newgrounds) so I figured I would have a shot at it. I wouldn't consider this piece anything special and would say its quite straightforward. This is my first real attempt with working with vocals so I would appreciate some constructive criticism on vocal EQing. So please, vote, review, and visit my website. Enjoy or not :)

I mainly listen to house and a bit of progressive trance so take this for what its worth. I loved the remix and it flowed really well in my opinion. For your first time using vocals you did really well, nothing feels out of place or forced into the mix (big problem i had when first using vocals and still have sometimes) so props on that!
On to constructive criticisms, i did feel at points the mix was a bit muddy, and even more so when the vocals came in. To solve that I usually cut around 350-500 range in a good portion of the instruments as well as the master channel but you have to experiment to make sure. I think there may be to much reverb and/or delay on the vocals because when those came in I felt like everything else, especially the main lead, got pushed out and overwhelmed (in some points more than others) about 2:00 minutes to 2:15 is a good point to show what I am talking about. I really liked the way you used the reverb and delay around 3:00-3:15 though.
thats all my preference and just what I have found to work for me. Just subtle changes nothing that intense, but it makes a big difference. otherwise great work, keep it up! Hope it helps you in some way! =] 5/5, 5/5
Wow, thanks a lot :D. I wish I could get reviews like this more often. I'll consider the suggestions you have given me and see I can do the clear up the mix. Thanks again this is a HUGE help :).

I'm digging your remix man, nice job! Sorry but I don't know anything to suggest about vocal EQing.
