Here's yet another teaser for a song in the upcoming game Epic Battle Fantasy IV!!
I particularly enjoyed writing this song as it's written in Dorian mode. :D
Listen, leave a review, and Enjoy!

Very nice :). I'm detecting a hint of Scarborough Fair...or is that just me?

You are right! Scarborough Fair is indeed in Dorian mode, and was an inspiration for this song. Although this song differs quite a bit from Scarborough Fair and is quite unique in its own right.

I love the simplicity within this piece. It is very laid back and the percussion/piano background only adds to it. My only complaint is that it isn't very ear-catching, if you know what I mean. It is hard to just sit down and listen to it, but it is an amazing BG song. Very well done!

Percussion is too "loud," repetitive, and it's stealing the spot light and contradicting from the very laid back melody. The melody is simple and memorable, could use a chorus segment to reenforce it.

Thanks for the critique! :D
