Captured in FL at level 12. Adamant nature. Featuring guest vocalist, VOCALOID "Miku Hatsune".

The lyrics kind of spell out the majority of what I was getting at here, so just give 'em a close listen. The whole being imaginary bit though is more metaphoric: despite a (percieved) lack of ability from the subject, the subject will still try their hardest to do the best they can.

... but who's the subject you ask? Could it be play on the lyricist's lack of self esteem? Is it a play on the fact that the vocalist is artifical, or imaginary? Maybe is it both?

I'll let you decide. ;)

I don't understand why your music goes so unappreciated, a lot of it sounds just as good as the more popular submissions. I apologize for your lack of popularity and recognition, because despite not understanding the lyrics, I enjoyed this song as much as I would any song of this genre. Keep on keeping on artist, you can do it.

UnBalNzD responds:

Simply put, the vocal synthesizer I used is only capable of utilizing japanese phonetics. It is an absolute chore to make her sing in english. It also doesn't help that this was my first shot at doing so. However, I've found Miku's voice works rather well with my style, so when I can, I try to get her to do my vocals.

... That, and I'm huge fan and I get giddy when I think of her singing my on my tracks.

In any case, I really appreciate your kind words, they make me very happy! If you really like my tunes, then go tell your friends about me! Word of mouth is a very powerful advertisement tool, and I think the best way to let an artist know that you appreciate their work is to give them further exposure.

... well, you could also throw money at me, but I don't think I'm that good. ;)
