From about 1 in the afternoon to about 4 pm, drunk off of winecoolers, I recorded this song.

Really good musicianship, man. Like the guys below me already said, there's some things off with the mixing. Volume levels, compression, EQ, all that could definitely benefit from another pass. Otherwise, song was nicely done. I really like the riff at :53.

Thank you very much. I'm most likely going to remix it.

Not sure how long you've been doing this for but this is good! Like dosko said the drums do detract a little bit but im not so sure its the quality of the samples as much as it is how its balanced in the mix. The vocals are too quiet and the drums are too loud. I think it would help if you pulled everything but the drums forward more it would make it sound more professional. I wasn't so sure if i could pin the meaning of the song it seemed like it was along the linies of the horrors of alcoholism. Overall very nice job keep up the good work :D

Thank you! Yeah I agree with the balance being a little whacked, I try to make it work for speakers and headphones alike. But after listening I can definitely tell it needs to be adjusted. Thank you for noticing that and thanks for the kind words!

It's a great song, but the drum machine kind of detracts from it. I know how hard it can be to find a drummer though, let alone a good one, so it's understandable. I'm also no fan of the abrupt ending, it feels unfinished. But the your technique makes up for it. I mean, it's no four chord whiney song, so you've already done a lot right in that sense. I am curious how you recorded this though, it doesn't sound incredibly mastered or anything like that.

Thanks a lot! I used Garage Band and recorded the guitar and bass tracks with an M-Audio fasttrack, nothing fancy. Drum machine is M-Audio Trigger Finger. Drumming is not my strong point haha, but thanks for understanding. The mic, nothing special, cheap usb.
Thank you for the well put, and well spoken, criticisms. I don't get much feedback so it's very appreciated. Thank you for listening.
