Lyrics:

Cross the dunes, you'll hear cries of somber souls
All shaken up from fear of failing
Aren't we all?

Take cover, man, you'll lose your head.
They're just taking pot shots everywhere
But don't we all?

Take caution now, be tactical,
The enemy may run away
But don't we all?

Virtue's in our blood
We may know right now, but surely we'll forget

D-day will be marketed and heaven will be lonely since
We're all alone

And if we end up angels why should we be cursed with living first
It's so unreal

Expect a lot of disappointment when you sink into the ground
And never touch the sky

Heaven's in your head, let it go
Forget what you knew, before you get bound

(Guitar solo)

Don't we all make our own way?
There's no harm in ignoring those who define the world

Won't we all just flee the fire if everything will burn on down
It's just a matter of time

Across the world you'll hear the cries of all the failures
Mourning for mankind
Won't we all?

Virtue's just a dream, we've made it show
It's all just a lie, all our pride

Mmm, I'm really digging that southern flavor in your guitar playing. And why pardon the singing? You have a great voice, and lyrics that actually flow in a way that doesn't feel like assembly-line music. I mean, that was the best part about the song, really. I don't know what else to comment on, really. This song is fantastic, in most every sense of the word. Hope to hear more in the future, man.

Kor-Rune responds:

Thanks man! I really appreciate the review, and I'm not sure my own voice will ever sound right to me, but I'm certainly happy you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for the listen and the positive comments, it really is encouraging.

Thanks again!
