Coed - Turn Off This Song (The Lonely Forest)

Welcome to my heart and soul
A miserable excuse
To tell the world of all the pain I've caused
I hope you don't forget these songs

And though you're young
Life's been short
You're almost 21
I feel as if we can relate on some
Of these words I've written down

Turn off, turn off this song
Find someone to love
Turn off this song
You can listen to it later
Go outside

And guys in bands with vintage shirts and hundred dollar pants
Often think we do what no one can
We see ourselves above the rest

When faced with truth
I realize there's nothing I can do
Amount of talent or a gift to bring
That is greater than the orphan song she sings

Turn off, turn off this song
Find someone to love
Turn off this song
You can listen to it later
Go outside

Awesome mate. loved the lyrics, very clear voice, and fantastic singing at that!

This is so amazing! The poetry and personal imagery is fantastic, and the chords are in perfect rhythm in my opinion. Coming from a large indie/folk fan, this is probably one of the best songs I've found all day.
