First of all, congrats on your Best of the Week! :D
It's an interesting composition, somewhat varied, deep and expressive. Sound-wise, it's like a mix of different influences ranging from space rock to folk, and they all blend pretty well. Personally, I would only raise up the drums a bit, making them clearer (EQ) and add a bit more layers to the main pads, maybe some rhythmic/sequenced synths. Otherwise, don't bother editing it as it sounds great even without my suggestions, coming straight from my imagination. :3

I agree with the drums, I should not have been so eager with the reverb. I've never really liked working with rhythmic/sequenced synths, but I'm sure it could've added some extra texture to the piece. But as you say, it stands well enough on its feet as it is.

WOW. This is awesome. I listened to this playing minecraft pretty much whenever I was on. It just kept me patient when trying to find diamonds and happy doing other stuff. I think this is going on my iPod. The melody is so peaceful and kind of sad, yet it has the opposite effect of being sad for me, it seems to make me a little happy and calm. Unfortunately, I get a 404 error "this file is not on the server" when trying to see the inspiration for this. Faved for awesomeness!

This piece is sublime. It evokes so many thoughts, so many different people, places, worlds and situations yet they all stem from this simple yet touching collection of notes and pitches. Music is as unique as the person who creates it, and just by listening to this you can tell a lot of heart and soul went into this.
