What you're missing is a lead. Something to carry over and throughout your various staccato elements. Something to really fill the middle range of the track. You've got a rhythm section set up, now build your lead.

At present, a generic techno loop. I used FL Studio 9 to make this, with FL Slayer, Fruity DX10, Triple Oscillator, and some basic sound samples that came with the program.
I can't for the life of me place the instrument or melody that I need most to be able to fill this in more than it is so far. I will agree with loansindi on the whole "making music is hard", but for me, it's hard in an entirely different sense than what he's got.
I won't dare call this complete until I find what it's missing, and when I do, I'll be able to submit a truly finished rendition.
