All audio production tools can be easily found online, with varying power to each of them. Most are alike in the respect that they each accomplish the same goals, but with incredibly varying setups that can be incredibly confusing at first. The trick is to humble yourself and soak up all the knowledge you can about the DAW (digital audio workstation) you're using so that you can get better at making music in general.
Knowing this, there are quite a few DAW's to choose from. Fruity Loops Studio (FL studio) is a very powerful DAW that most people are recommended to use when they first start out, seeing as it's very easy to learn how to use if you're committed to learning, and some very intense songs can be created with it as well. Skrillex started out with FL studio, and most of his older works like "shark attack" were made using it, or so I hear. A better example would be "Varien - Throne of ravens", as he actually shows you a preview of it within FL studio. This might help you get a feel of what you can make using it. Look up some other DAW's and see which one you want to use, I would heavily suggest using FL studio, but it is a little pricey.

As for this song, it's a great track man, love the guitar riffs in the background. Suits it all too well.

Indeed, I agree. I have been working with Pro Tools for quite a while now and really the only reason why I chose that above all other programs, is because Pro Tools tends to be the industry standard in Nashville and I would like to move there to further my musical editing/mixing/producing abilities along with general audio engineering. FL Studio and Logic are the easiest to learn in my opinion but right now, since they just came out with Pro Tools 10 this year, Pro Tools MP 9 is only $100 and comes with the M-Audio FastTrackPro i/o interface. That's what I started out on and would recommend if someone has some experience with editing and mixing already but doesn't have loads of money to buy any equipment with.

you made this your self? Dame dude, this is awsome. My only questons are where can you get theis programs, and what was your insperation for this?

theGodspeed responds:

Thanks man! The program I used is Pro Tools 9 (I made this song before Pro Tools 10 came out) and the plug-ins I used are the Quantum Tracks, GTR 3.5 and Waves 7.0 plug-ins. And my inspiration was a mixture of the COD soundtrack and, since I tend to create songs according to my moods, I was a bit angry that day lol.
