This remix is good. I have to agree with a few of the other people that reviewed this, though. It really doesn't have much of the energy that was in the original version.

Cave Story has a really great soundtrack, doesn't it? Here's my take on the main theme, which I always felt had this whimsical quality to it. I tried to keep that whimsical feel intact.

I think this is really nice, but it's missing the energy of the original, I think because you've really let the lead fade in to the back, and the backing instrument become too loud and effectively take the lead role. Remaster this by changing up the instrument volumes, and it'd be 5 stars.
