Hey guys, here's another song for you guys. I'm a big fan of Thomas Newman's work, and so I wanted to do something in his style. Please be gentle as this is my first time emulating his style.

As always, feedback is welcome and encouraged.

Neat.

This song is really good. I'm impressed that this is your first time emulating Newmans style. You definitely did a good job on that.

I like how the song starts out. It has an eerie feel but then it changes to a sad, lonley feel when the piano comes in. The title is perfect for this piece.

The piece flows really well. The way the song progresses nicely and the strings privide amazing support for the piano while working well on their own at the 2 minute mark. Actually, they kind of bring back that eerie feel from the beginning.

The piano melodies are nice. They are what really drive this piece and give it that intended feeling of isolation. They sound really familiar though... Hmm... I'll figure it out eventually. Is there any particular song of Newmans that you would credit your inspiration for this to? That may bewhy this sounds so familiar.

Oh well. I'm gonna stop before I digress too much with my ramblings. Good job on the awesome song.

Also, this kind of reminds me of Zelda at times.
