So this is me doing dubstep. It's not the extremely bassy wub-wub kind (although I as much as you would like to hear some of that in this piece...). It's a disgrace to the name "dubstep". Ten hours, nine patterns (only nine... really!), eleven envelopes, and seventeen audio clips later, a piece of dubstep is made. This is by far the hardest genre I've ever encountered. So... enjoy, and as always, PLEASE rate and comment!

EDIT 04/17/2012: All of my comments have told me it's not really dubstep, which I can bring myself to see. The style has been changed to Trance, but the title, as far as I know, can't be changed.

This is definitively not dub step. I would have put it under a different genre if i were you. YOu should look up some debstep tutorials on youtube, and even some free dubstep files so you know how they are contructed. Look into searching dubstep flp if your using fruity loops/

^I did say in the comments that it's not a deep dubstep, and as LeirbagZero mentioned, it's more trance-ish. So you are right. It's lame dubstep. But zero stars tells me that the song is not good at ALL, which I don't believe is exactly true... but I'm prejudiced about my own work. :)
Anyway, thanks for the tips!

I feel your pain bro, im trying to do dubstep as well and is by far really a hard genre for me (of course im a noob at this, and with out any real knowledge of FL is harder XD)

still as you say i dont feel any wub wub or any kicking noises to give me a "dubstep feeling" its more like a Trance-ish song its still good but i felt more like the "base line" you could use it and add the wub wub(s) later to really make a Dubstep Song.

It was hard to rate and i think it deserves a 3/5

-Add some wub wubs and growling sounds and this will become a 5/5.

but hey... thats my Humble opinion ;)

Thanks for the input! There actually was wub wub in there, in multiple places, but it's unrealistically hard to make it louder. So in that respect, it does seem like a trance song. Thanks again, and good luck with your audio work! :D
