It isn't perfect by any means, but I think it's pretty moody and enjoyable. I finally decided to use my piano as a midi controller, and this is more or less just me experimenting with some piano.
It's a tune I've been working on a while though, this is about half of what I eventually have planned for it, though whether or not I'll be able to play the second half any time soon is the real question, it gets much more complicated.
Nevertheless, I hope you guys like the mellow part 1, part 2 won't be so mellow, but it will be a piano solo as well.

Nice melody, but the chord progressions could be a lot smoother. And you could add a bit more variety, it sounds kind of monotonous in the middle (literally meaning one (mono) tone repeated too many times). Possibly you could add a few more parts like a violin or similar instrument. Overall its a very nice beginning to what could become a great piece.
