Seeing as I heard about the competition today (aka the deadline) my work is a tad rushed. I've tried to convey a good start to what becomes a good day. It is a very "light" piece and isn't supposed to be "epic" or "heart-wrenching" because I figured a lot of people would use that kind of stylised composition in this competition. This is more relief from all that heaviness. I don't expect to win or place highly because of the piece's nature (relief rather than being a stunning, moving work of art) and the clunky midi sound but it's just nice to get work out there. Enjoy :)

It definitely conveys that feeling of light-heartedness you were going for. It reminds me a little bit of the hub music you'd hear in Traverse Town in Kingdom Hearts, which is a good thing IMO, as I have a lot of happy memories associated with that game. Plus it was always a safe, happy place to rest from fighting Heartless. Overall, great job!

I like it, brings to mind some old games I use to play with scenes in port towns, uncharted waters and others. You do good work and look forward to hearing what else you dream up. =)
Yeah I know not ment as a port scene but hey. =P
