My first work using Logic so the mixing is a bit off, could really use some pointers on this.

EDIT: Added some brass segments and eqd the choir, extended the "ZOMG EPIC" segment for YOUR pleasure!

My biggest concern is that there might be some cluttering in the epic segment and that it might be a bit repetitive... oh well.

Sounds great. Opens with a hint of sadness, builds up into something that just feels epic with the strings. A lot of other music usually overdramatize, but this was something else. It's simple, though not in the bad way, because it reeks of epic, dramatic, almost a tad tragic, but it really makes me believe something really BIG is going down, and the brass just taps that right into my brain.

And as you stated you're worried that it might roll to be a bit repetitive. Do not worry, friend. It's something I can listen to with ease, and I've done so five-six time within writing this, so I don't have to strap myself down to listen to it like I would with an LMFAO song. The repetition here serves the theme well, and keeps it at a straight line. Besides, altering the same line from one instrument onto another as shown here, coming from something small into something a bit more grandeur is fitting to the theme as well, seeing as the part brings it up towards something greater and larger.
Great work, friend.

Long time. Great work on your latest submissions. I've been banned for some reason :( without explanation. Oh well, I don't like more than half of the 'entertainment' i get on NG anymore even tho I've been coming here for like 10 years.

Come visit me on youtube.

Not an expert here, but I don't see how this could be a WIP, I'd say that what you have here is an awesome piece of art, truly.
What I liked the most about this song was the combination of vocals and violin, then the drums joining in, I love how epic they sound together, indeed it gives me the chills (in the good way).
Downloading right away, I love it, keep up the good work, you are one of the good ones.

Well, im trying to make it a bit more "epic" by adding some better snares and adding a brass section :)

This sounds very good to me. It seems a bit like a piece of music they'd use when the pace is starting to pick up and something is set in motion. There's plenty of variation and different parts in this song which is what I generally like in music. I especially liked the part where the voices kicked in again at around 2:00 and the final bit with the xylophone(-ish) instrument.

I'm afraid I can't really give you any pointers. Especially not about using the program and technical stuff. It sounds good to me as it is though. I wouldn't change too much if you're planning on redoing this piece.

Overall 4.5 out of 5. Nice work. Keep it up.

Ive added some military snares in the beginning and mixed it up a bit, ive also eq'd the choir some more to add the crispness.

Ill upload the updated piece soon :)

Very good use of pads and voices.

Im an ambient/classical producer myself (heh)

But yeah the general mixing is not off...little tweaks wouldn't hurt though...
Like for one you could increase your High Frequencies on the voices...make them sound s littl bit more crisp (but not too much though...or else the track will crackle)

but yeah again you're not too off..
Keep it up.
