I am working on multiple projects right now, but I just can't seem to find the determination...
For now:
Here is a cool, "simple" house track I made.
Focused on simplicity, but not emptiness. Could be used for credits to a game/flash or background music =]

It was interesting creating this sound, I know it sounds basic, but I think I managed to make it sound fun =]

If you like it, that is awesome!
But I would love to see any comments or reviews you guys feel, I appreciate someone taking some time to share=]

Thanks & Enjoy!

as i wrote in the past comment, i really think stereo separation could be a GREAT idea in this song
overall good job!

YakovlevArt responds:

That's a good idea!
Thanks for mentioning it =]

This song you made definitely does have potential, but it needs more build. When there's a moment, like in dubstep when you can have a "drop" is your chance to build up to this moment. Get excited Antiskill, as we the community are to see your music. Break through that artist block bro, I know you can do it. :)

YakovlevArt responds:

Hey man thanks for the honest review.
I know what you mean about a build and drop. I'm sorry to inform you that as I do love to listen to dubstep, i find much of my inspiration from other genres, such as Prog House and Trance. Many tracks are a test of production skill and musical understanding when one can make a track without your standard "mainstream" structure. I will however make a track in the future, perhaps a track more appropriate in samples and tempo to have a good build and drop =]

I like it, but I do wish the lead was a little more interesting. I know it's meant to be simple, but I'm sure this could really go far if you let it grow. But again, simplicity. Very good song though, just like most of yours!

YakovlevArt responds:

Oh thanks a lot for the compliments.
I really focused not only on simplicity of the lead, but simplicity in effects, with the wobbles and glitchy parts. The melody was the main element though in this one. I wanted to to see if i could make a catchy melody with such a simple sound. I really enjoyed the flexibility and the thought of how far I could push it, but I decided to lay low and make something small.

Thanks a lot for your review and if i make another track similar to this one, I'll make sure to push the complexity further =]

Pretty cool! I do think the lead could be given a bit more power though, maybe through reverb or stereo separation. Anyway, keep up the good work man!

YakovlevArt responds:

Yeah that is a good thought.
I think I did add some reverb on some new synth around 1 min.
But overall I tried to keep it simple=]

Thanks a lot for the review man.

That's pretty damn good, reminds me of a old arcade game theme....keep up the epic work!

YakovlevArt responds:

Yeah, that is what I kept thinking during the production =]
That's cool that you noticed it.
