I dare you to find a beat on NG
that's as comparable to The Chocolate Boy Wonder himself!
Cause this sounds just like him on the PeteStrumentals

I like it a lot it's reall good, but how the first 2 people said it is a little repetitive but i also agree with what you said about adding vocals it would kill the repetitiveness but in all I like it bro if you do ever put one with vocals up i would love to hear it 9/10 5/5 .

Holy shit, this beat goes hard. I love the guitar or whatever and those horns in the background. I like the kick, the snares alright, I don't really like the shaker though, little harsh for the harp-like guitar. Hmm, that bass is ill too, specially when it goes to work in the intro. I love those wispy kind of cymbals too.
alright that's all, keep this stuff up dude!

Good beat

I think you should leave this beat right how it is. It has subtle variations which make it perfect for an old school hip hop beat. People don't understand that you have leave space for vocals where the listener will be primarily listening to them and it wouldn't sound repetitive at all. 10/10 5/5

I completely agree with you, because I make my beats in song format, not just for listening pleasure. I wanna add vocals to it now, Thanks man

Just about killer.

The sample is a little bit repetitive, but I don't mind. Everything seems well mixed, and the shuffle is great.

A good beat. 9/10 and 5/5.

ThaKidd responds:

I quit, I can't get a 10 lol...
I'm gonna add vocals to it so that might kill the repetitiveness everybody hits me with...
Thanks for the review!

9/10

I really freaking liked it, but then it was really repetitious, i wanted to hear some diversity, you should try revamping it, but its still pretty damn good right now =]

ThaKidd responds:

Thanks man. I appreciate the review...trust me!
And when I was making it a few hours ago, I wanted to add sooooooo much to it, so I was studying a Pete Rock beat (Like 5 of them actually haha) which is why it sounds similar to CBW...I was thinking of adding some soul chops, a few rapper vocals and maybe another layer with horn... You've just inspired me haha
